Description
A beautiful pencil charcoal image by my Mum, now deceased. She did beautiful drawings in pencil, charcoal and pen and ink, and also some oil paintings.. I loved them so much. This was one of my favorites. We had a garage sale after my dad died, and so sad to say that so many of her original images were stolen from the wall. I still have some prints of her other images and will post more soon.
From Wikipedia - The Border Collie is a working and herding dog breed developed in the Anglo-Scottish border county of Northumberland, for herding livestock, especially sheep.
Considered highly intelligent, extremely energetic, acrobatic and athletic, they frequently compete with great success in sheepdog trials and dog sports. They are often cited as the most intelligent of all domestic dogs. Border collies continue to be employed in their traditional work of herding livestock throughout the world and are kept as pets.

Thanks for your comment, Rebecca :) I certainly know I don't have my Mum's drawing and painting talent.... but maybe it sort of came out in the photography! My daughter seems to follow my mum in the drawing and painting area. Loved viewing your beautiful images too.... thank you. I added a few L/F's in appreciation.
